Primary Schools concert at Barry Memorial Hall

Tuesday 17^th November St Helen’s school at the Memo Barry.

 

Excellent performance by the choir of 50 children – though I was a little nervous with my debut playing “Little Donkey” on the lovely Grande piano at the Barry Memorial Hall! Was very glad that we didn’t just sing Christmas songs – it feels a little too early. Labi Siffre’s “So Strong” felt like a really good song too considering the event in Paris the week earlier. The children performed so beautifully and heartily. Both songs were sung in 3 part harmony at points. This is a very talented children’s choir who amaze me with their achievements and ability to harmonise so well.
